You disappoint me!
Now I know that Google doesn’t know everything. And it only knows what it’s told. But nevertheless, when I search for ‘earth hour fort lauderdale’ I expect to find something. There are now two and a half days before Earth Hour so why isn’t Google showing me all the initiatives that Fort Lauderdale businesses and hotels are planning?
Is it because your PR people (or you, in the case of small businesses) haven’t bothered to send out press releases? Or is it that no-one in Fort Lauderdale is doing anything? That can’t be the case, surely?
Maybe you’re relying on sending press releases out after the event? OK but why aren’t you making the most of it and promoting it now? Remember that events should be promoted before, during and after in order to make the most of them.
Earth Hour events are easy to arrange and easy to promote.
Look, I’m not some over-zealous conservationist and I don’t know about you but see below – I want my grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be able to enjoy this in real life, not just in a photograph.
