Pinview for Facebook
If you’ve wandered around this place reading my social media rants, I’m sure that you know that I think Pinterest is the greatest thing since sliced bread and that I feel pretty ambivalent about boring old Facebook. And if you thought that there was no comparison between the two (as I did) then read on.
The great thing about Pinterest is that it’s visual and in this day and age we have so little time and the fact that ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ has never been more true. On social media – Twitter realizes this – you might only have a second to get your message across and that means visuals – great ones.
Some rather clever chaps have developed a new Facebook app called, unsurprisingly, PinView. Install the app and your timeline appears in Pinterest form.
What this means to you, business-owner or social media manager, is that Pinterest users will install this app so you know what you have to do. Post great visuals!
