Even the rain is an opportunity
As I write, I should be listening to very loud aircraft. You see, this weekend is the Air Show on Fort Lauderdale Beach. But instead of the roar of the might of the military, all I can hear is rain – lots of it – and the occasional rumble of thunder…
Now that’s bad news for the air show but it’s a great opportunity for Las Olas Boulevard, a wonderful street with fabulous stores, restaurants and galleries which runs to the beach. And Las Olas Boulevard is lucky to have me looking after their social media
About an hour ago, when I saw that the air show had been cancelled due to the weather, I immediately thought of all the people who now have to look for something else to do with their day. What better than to visit Las Olas?
The first job was Twitter:
And quite a few others too. Then I had to turn my attention to one of the curation services I use – to make sure that it featured thing to do:
