Oh, so it’s the fault of mobile photography

England’s Prince Harry has reportedly been photographed – by a mobile phone – naked. Some websites are saying that the reason for this is the fact that everyone these days carries a camera in their purse or pocket – their smartphone.

In Ft Lauderdale, the A1A wavewall (which I rarely ever shoot, and is in the out-of-shot foreground of a lot of my images) attracts the runners and the joggers and the dawn walkers – there are a lot of us sunrise-compulsives.

All Things Must Pass

Our lovely daughter-in-law-to-be just lost her dad this week. Her mum passed on a few years ago too, so this is a biggie.

I’m of her dad’s generation and last holidays he and I were necking wine and swapping 70s and 80s stories; he telling me about his long distance trucking escapades while the kids ran around full of sugar and chocolate paying him no attention. He’s been around for all their lives so why talk to the old guy when there’s a DVD to watch…
