Arthaus San Francisco – mobile photography awards
You have until June 30th. to see the mobile photography awards – assuming that you’re in the San Francisco area. The exhibition started in early April and is the longest running mobile photography exhibition to date. What I didn’t know until recently is that there were over 2,200 entries for the exhibition from 114 different countries.
(I know what you’re thinking. Andy should have designed it, right? Shhh…) So the next question is, which of Andy artworks was shown at the exhibition? I know, I wouldn’t have liked to be the person to make the selection.
It’s difficult to say what image represents Andy’s artwork. Many people love Big E. Well, all the bird images are incredibly popular – it’s that feeling of freedom. The sunrises are amazing too, but no, that’s not what the exhibition judges selected. Ah – the ‘capture the moment’ waves? None of the above. They selected something that is so iconically Fort Lauderdale!
